Willow Warbler - Phylloscopus trochilus

One of the commonest warblers in Britain, though it has declined in recent years. It is very similar to the Chiffchaff and most easily told apart by its song - a descending trill (as opposed to 'chiff chaff chiff chaff'). They are normally found in woodland and well established scrub, and are not often seen in gardens. Like most warblers they are summer migrants, returning to Africa in the winter.
