Sardinian Warble - Sylvia melanocephala

A rare vigranrt in Britain, the Sardinian Warbler is relatively common in southern Europe around the Mediterranean. The male has a black head contrasting with the white throat, whilst the female has more subdued plumage with a brown head. Both have red eye rings.
