Marsh
Tit (Palus palustris)
By
sight, the Marsh Tit is very hard to tell apart from the
Willow Tit but they have very different calls, with the
Marsh Tit having a characteristic 'pichay de de de de'.
It breeds in damp deciduous woodland but can also be seen
in gardens and parks. It nests in holes, sometimes taking
over a cavity in rotten wood made by the Willow Tit.
