Marsh Harrier - Circus aeruginosus

The largest of the harriers and mainly seen in wetland areas where it flies slowly over reedbeds looking for prey. The female is mainly all brown with a cream cap but the male has tri-coloured wings: brown, grey then black at the tip. In the UK it is a summer migrant and is mainly found inEast Anglia and a few other parts of England.
