Common Ground Dove (Columbina passerina)
Found mainly along the Gulf states in the USA, it forages on the ground looking for seeds. The scale efect on its breast helps to distinguish this species from other doves.
This is a female, lacking the gray crown of the male. Caya Costa, Florida.
