Canada Goose (Branta canadensis)

This North American introduced species is now widespread in the UK and a common sight on many park lakes. It is not shy and readily comes to be fed by people. Like most geese, they are sociable birds and often congregate in large flocks. Females will also collect together their young in large creches, with several mothers joining forces to look after them.
