Distributed across most of south-eastern Australia, the Superb (orBlue) Fairy Wren is found in most habitats. The breeding male is spectacular but the females are relatively plain. Non-breeding males and juveniles are like females. They live in small groups with just one dominant male. They feed mainly on insects but will eat seeds.
