Little Pied Cormorant - Phalacrocorax melanoleucos

This is a common bird across Australia and the south Pacific region. it feeds on the sea or lake floor, bringing fish to the surface to swallow. It is distinguished from the larger Pied Cormorant by the white patch on its head extending over the head and beak.
