Bassian thrush - Zoothera lunulata

A secretive bird, mainly found in the south-east of Australia. It feeds on the ground, scratching for insects, either in woodland or where there is good cover nearby. It is very similar to the Russet-tailed Thrush, which as the name suggests has a brown rump/tail.
