Australian white ibis - Threskiornis molucca

The white body and featherless black head make this species easy to identify. It is common over much of Australia, even in parks and urban grasslands. It commonly feeds on mussels and crayfish which it picks out of mud with its long bill. Shellfish and smashed open by banging them onto rocks. They nest colonially in trees, often with the Straw-necked Ibis.
